Good for you! That is why we shoot RAW. There is so much that can be squeezed out of your image file that would be impossible to do with a jpeg. You don't have to worry about getting the white balance perfect at the time of shooting as that can be corrected later. Always try to get exposure right at the time of shooting, but it is nice to know you can fall back in post processing. I was shooting a wedding a few years ago and my flash batteries we starting to go soft on me when doing a rapid sequence. Turned out the flash failed to fire in one part of the sequence, and wouldn't you know that this particular shot was golden. Fortunately, I was able to salvage it with post processing of the RAW file.
At the moment, I prefer the RAW output from Capture 1 Pro. Simply stunning!
