Goodmorning everyone. They are three years that use Samsung NX3000 and are very pleased with the results I've had. In recent times I begin to have some minor problems that the service center has resolved. To avoid future problems are looking for a mirrorless that good features. Once accustomed to this type of sensor I can no longer take pictures with lower sensor. Unfortunately Samsung no longer manufactures cameras and then try other models. Among the many models to value and size, I analyzed the characteristics and Sony A5100 seems like a viable alternative to NX3000 and superior characteristics. The size and portability resulting like. Which judgments you have about this pattern? Do you have tips for other models? There are also many other models with APS-C sensor very interesting but unfortunately have a fixed focal length and thus seem limiting. Thank you all for the advice.

The most important factor you DIDN'T tell, us. BUDGET!

If you look at the A5100 it seems you are looking at the lowest of the lowest of cost.

If your budget is limited, and because I see that you ALREADY have 3 NX lenses, maybe a NX300 or NX30 that can be found from 150euros (for the first) to a lot more (for the second), can be just perfect for you. Maybe invest on a Samyang 12mm or NX 12-24 for your landscape photography.

I do have a NX3000, used to have a NX300, and I tell you, the NX300 is a much better camera in every sense. The sensor of course is similar (NOT the same, AF system of NX300 is miles ahead) but this is not a bad thing, even though I found the NX300 photos a bit better than my NX3000.

In everything, ergonomics, touch screen, AF, menus, design, the NX300 is much better, and can be had for cheap (especially if you can find a good one).

In my opinion, and for photography only, a 20mgpxls APS-C sensor is much better than a 16 m4/3. If you cared mostly for video (60-40 videos to photo, and up) I would definitely advice you a Panasonic camera.

Now, if you want to spend more, there are two options for you, a Fuji camera (the aforementioned is maybe exceeding your budget though, and the lenses are not that cheap),

and a Canon M6, the pancake lens (22mm/2f) and the 11-22 ultra wide zoom are exceptional lenses to have (for the price and size), but no other interesting lenses in the system. From your NX equipment, I understand that you do not need a lot of lenses, so this pancake, the ultra wide zoom (for landscapes) and the kit lens with the camera, you will be fine.
