Re: An alternative to Samsung.

I recently made the switch from an NX300 to a Panasonic G85.  I was initially concerned with going from an APS-C sensor to micro four thirds, but I've been extremely pleased with the image quality so far.  The biggest selling points for me were that the camera and kit lens had weather sealing, dual-image stabilization from the body and lens, articulating screen, and a large selection of lenses from Panasonic, Olympus, and other third-parties.  It also has 4k video, which I don't use but it's nice to have.  The only drawback for me was the G85 is only 16 megapixels where as most APS-C camera are 20+.  I rarely print and even when I do I find that 16 megapixels is more than enough. Though I would love to have the extra megapixels for cropping, but otherwise it's made me more conscious of my framing to get the shot right from the start.

I also agree with John to check out the Fuji X-T20.  It looks like a fantastic camera and I've heard that Fuji makes some very high quality lenses.  Ultimately I decided against the camera because of the lack of weather sealing, no articulating screen, and somewhat limited lens selection.  Lenses are also generally more expensive than micro four thirds, but I still think it looks like a great camera and I'm sure you'd be pleased with the quality moving from Samsung.
