16mm vs 16-55mm for travel

hi all,
gas is starting to hit again and I am considering the next lens purchase. I have quite a few lenses already (14, 18-55, 35 1.4, 60, 90, 55-200, x100t) but none of them are perfect in my opinion for what I want out of travel - wide options that are optically excellent. I do not wish to sell a single lens as they all have their benefits and I love each one of them but in particular situations but also drawbacks (as described):
14mm - too wide for day to day shots. No wr
18-55 - variable zoom is good but not spectacular like the 90mm. No wr
35 - a little too normal for my liking but great for portraits of kids. No wr
60 - a little too long for most of the shots I like. No wr
90 - love this lens but a little long for general travel
55-200 - a little too slow. No wr
x100t - a good length but I would like a little wider. Misses the xt2 larger sensor
this leads me to the 16 and 16-55. To me these seem perfect for travel but I find them hard to choose between. The pros/cons I see are
16: wr, optically excellent, smaller, fits my current Lee system, can't Vary the focal length, may be a little wide
16-55: wr, optically very good, more versatile, doesn't fit Lee system, heavy and large filter thread
i tend to shoot landscapes but not every travel situation provides you with this. I will need to take family shots some times too. I will probably pair the choice with the 90mm for telephoto. Weight is not really an issue for me as I will only probably take two lenses.
i have no chance to try either lens easily or rent them as they are not that common in Adelaide, Australia. Please give me your viewpoints especially if you have both.
Thanks
Sam
