It's the only SD camera Sigma ever made that has absolutely no noise either in the sky or shadows when shot at iso 50. So trading the SD14 for the H you'd be going from the most noise free body to the nosiest body Sigma has ever made.

Of course, the resolution of the SD14 is so low in comparison that in order to duplicate the H's resolution you'd have to pano stitch. Everything's a trade off.

Isn't that the truth ...

The real question to ask is what do you do with your images? As I print, the images from the SD14 (and the SD9) can easily make A2 and also, if required, A1 too size printed results - so I see no reason to want anything greater. The SD1M is great - but just check out the RAW X3F file sizes by comparison.

If your prime interest is pixel peeping (which I find totally daft in the real world) you may have a different outlook. However, I maintain that pictures should be the prime purpose of Photography - that's what it was invented for. It's only since digital came along that some seem totally preoccupied with viewing greatly enlarged bits onscreen. If that's your interest .... fine .... but don't think that has any relevance to making pictures.
