Most people are worried about the lack of future bodies, not lenses (I have exactly the lenses I need, if you need more tele, then it is not the right system for you).

In a couple of years, NX1/NX500 will be behind technologically, especially for video as HDR 10 bit will be the norm.

In theory, I don't disagree with this. Though I anticipate the adoption of 4K sets and monitors will be slower than was the adoption of 1080p. And even now, true 10 bit panels for HDR in the consumer TV space are pretty rare and expensive. And the affordable ones, like the Vizio M series and a number of non-OLED LGs don't even get bright enough to utilize it.

I'd say this platform should hold up for at least 4-5 years without getting lapped by competitors. But the value in the secondary market will likely peak in the next year or so.
My bigger concern with camera bodies is what will be the erosion of servicing options should I have any trouble. That's my only true concern.

There are still servicing Samsung cameras, and there are brand new -so with 1 or 2 years official warranty.

I am a professional videographer, and I am expecting to need higher specs than most people, and sooner.

As I said, for an amateur, it is very hard to beat the camera's capabilities.
