What exactly is the problem? It's not like they will stop making cameras.

They are just going to reconstruct their corporate structure. Consumer digital cameras was so far an "independant" division, and now, with shrinking market, ir will be part of some other larger division, perhaps consumer electronics, or professional imaging or home appliances or whatever. Some services, like accounting and marketing and distribution will be merged, to make them more cost effective, and that's about it - for now.
