--I got my 80-400 last week and was not very happy the first two days
I used it. I just couldn't get sharp photos. Having some time this
weekend to experiment has made all the difference. Faster shutter
speed, bright light, and a steadier hand gave me some very nice
results.
I think this lens is going to be a great one, it just takes a
little time to get used to its characteristics.
I have a trip planned in a month and want to take just one lens.
I'm beginning to wonder if this is the one. Heavy, but worth it?
I hope you are enjoying the lens as much as I am.

--Hello Dave,
----Hello Dave,
Several questions.
Was that another bird the hawk got to eat? If so, you were at the
right place at the right time.
Are you any relation to Ann Penfold? If so, are you trying to
compete one against the other in quality of shots? LOL
The photos may be a bit fuzzy, however, they are still great. You
only get better with time and practice.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Stanley S.

--We don't compete - my shots are much better than his, he just needs
to learn to accept that and everything will be fine. LOL
