I thnk in general there is enough pixels now for any size print as long as one views from a distance that they can take in the entire image.

Nice. In 2005 I was using the D70S.

Yeah, got my D70 in 2004, before they improved and devalued it with the D70s. Then picked up the D200 which was a lemon - went in for repair 5x over 18 month at which tine Nikon finally replaced it. However, i did win a major contest with that 10mp sensor. They made a 40" print which was on display which as perfectly fine for normal viewing.
