Why am I not surprised that there's no consensus? I guess I'll have to try it out and see for myself. 😃

Yes, you typically know less than before after you have asked a question on these forums. But I think my image should be rather good evidence. There's no way I could get it that sharp at 1/15 s without stabilization.

Here's one from today. Not a great image, but again, there's no way it would come out sharp without a fully working stabilization.

1/30 s at 300 mm equiv handheld – how do you manage that without stabilization?
