David Rockefeller and my Canon cameras

David Rockefeller (yes, that David Rockefeller) died today at 101 years old. I mention this because I spent a number of years in his backyard photographing with my Canon 5D, Canon SX40, Canon SX50 and now Canon M5 (as well as my Samsung NX1). David's backyard happens to be the 1600 acre Rockefeller Preserve, about 5 minutes from my home, where so many of the images I have posted on this forum over the years were photographed. It was always a happy occasion to meet David on his horse drawn buggy with his driver and nurse. He always wanted to make sure you were having fun in his backyard. And even after donating the land to become a Preserve, he was always generous with millions of dollars in making sure it was well tended to. I'm going to miss the jolly nature he always greeted his "guests" with.

In remembrance, I share my Rockefeller Preserve Galleries , again mostly photographed with Canon cameras. Of particular interest may be the seasonal portrait slideshow with accompanying music (the music plays through twice). Use the 4 arrow icon at the top right to go to full screen mode. The music volume can be controlled at the bottom right:

I hope you enjoy what David gave me the opportunity to create.
