Upgradation from Nikon D5300

I'm currently using Nikon D5300 w/d 200-500mm F5.6. I'm quite happy with the IQ. I usually shoot wildlife mainly birds. But now my camera struggles in low light situations alot & I want to use fill flash in bird photography. I've Nikon SB-700 & a better beamer. Since my current camera doesn't has hss I can't use fill flash. I'm using my camera since 2 years & I've grown alot after using it. I'm confused between Nikon D7200 or D500.

For Nikon D500, I've to wait to have enough money. But I can buy D7200 rightnow. I'm confused between D7200 & D500 or whether I should even upgrade?

I want better low light focusing & ability to use fill flash for birding. I'm just an hobbiest & would likely to persue this as (wildlife photographer) career.

Thanks.

Some sample shots are here! Sorry I don't use flicker.
