red lightings vs blue or green
Best to shoot in raw, and underexpose by a full stop. I encounter this situation all the time, red is tough to meter for while blue and green tend to highlight (accentuate?) skin blemishes. I'm not shy about adjusting the "Camera Calibration" sliders in LR to accommodate such conditions.
This was at a stage lit only by high intensity green lights. Just green. Any other color was supplied by little lights on amps and pedals, or the TVs in the back of the room:
