Re: What is the best non-zipper case for the G7X mark II?
Adding on to this thread, in case any recent buyers of the G7X II are looking for a case. Criteria for a case will vary from person to person; mine were: as small and light as possible since I carry my camera in a handbag; easy to get the camera in and out of the case.
The first one I tried was a Miggo Grip & Wrap Mini. Sorry, forgot to take photos before returning it; here's a link: http://mymiggo.com/product/grip-wrap-mini/ I was intrigued with the case staying attached to the camera, and becoming a wrist strap. It ended up being a bust, though, at least for me. Perhaps if the neoprene was thinner/not as stiff it would have worked better. Definitely not easy to wrap up the camera after taking photos.
After several hours of online looking, I ordered 4 cases from Amazon. One of these will work!
(1) USA Gear Compact Camera Case. It DOES zip, but I don't find that to be a problem. Easy in/out, good fit, belt loop, carabiner, & zip accessories pocket on the back. Here are photos:

(2) USA Gear FlexArmor (Neoprene) Compact P&S Camera Case Flap velcros to bottom of case;zip accessories pocket under front flap; belt loop on back. A little more difficult in/out (but likely it would get easier with use); taller than the camera by 1 1/4 inches. Here are photos:

(3) Case Logic TBC-403 Again this one DOES zip; again not an issue, IMO. Back belt loop 7 carabiner; front zip accessories pocket. Easy in/out; taller than camera by about 1 inch; longer by about 1/2 inch. Here are photos:

(4) Op/Tech Soft Pouch Digital D-Micro Neoprene; flap snaps closed on the bottom; no belt loop or accessories pocket; inner "lanyard" clips to camera wrist strap so when camera is in use the case remains attached. Fit is a little tight, but, again, it will get easier with use. No extra space around camera. Here photos:

Hope this helps those who may be looking for a case! For my needs, it will be either (1) or (4).
