Thanks for your answers.
I know that AF on SLR is different than DSLR, but honestly 70D is not so good in some situations. I'm open for new "styles" in AF. I'm curious, if electronic viewfinder helps mi with manual focus. On 70D is really hard to focus through optical viewfinder.
By bringing something new in my photos I meant that having small compact silent camera allows me to take more natural pictures in some cases. And also I'll be able to have camera with me all the time. Taking 2kg of photo gear is not very comfortable.
I do not care about flash. I love natural lighting.
I'll gladly to read any other comments.
Do you think that sometimes in future new firmware allow to take f-log in video? Or any other more flat profile? I guess there is not something like user picture profile on Canons.
If video slog and AF are all high on your list i think you will be better off with sony a6500.
Not saying the xt20 is bad it isnt, but the a6500 do video a bit better than xt20. also has in body stabilization, 120fps @1080p slog picture profiles, better afc, longer recording, xt20 is limited in duration.
xt20 video is still good though and the film sims are also in the video. its a good camera.
I was thinking about a6300/6500 long time, but price of 6500 is quite high so only a6300 is alternative for me right now. Main problem for me with Sony is colour reproduction. I really do not like it. This is huge deal against Fujifilm. Another problem is their wired menu system and buttons. I need main functions on buttons, not deep in menu. Lenses looks for both systems on similar.
Would be perfect to try both cameras on field.
