I fully agree that this partial compatibility is a disgrace. Not only these constant issues you again point to (PF), but also the lack of support of Oly lenses with DFD (while it is not a big set back since C-AF still works well when you combine DFD with OLy lenses that can focus fast), then there is the manual settings on the lens that do not work when it is a Leica for instance on an Oly body.

We have Dual Focus and SyncIS excluding so called compatible lenses from that optimal stabilisation on either side of the equation.....

I guess what they think is opportunistic: not too many people will complain so let's lock them in via the lenses and lock the competition out....In stead of: let's provide optimal performance for our customers and focus on getting them the best we can always so they will keep buying from us....
