I too had the d7200 with the d7100 as a back up body, and have moved to the d500 and d7200 as back up.

The lack of PASM dial and pop up flash do not bother me as they were never used while the addition of dedicated AF-ON and extra custom buttons enabling switching of af modes are most welcome.

Living the the dull and dreary UK the low light focus and high iso performance is more than welcome too.

The sheer feel of the (gripped) body and size of its viewfinder seem to inspire a new level of confidence even before I fire off a few shots.

My only thing I could wish for would be the ability to program a different frame rate for different focus modes as when my hands are cold I can fire off a few too many shots in ch if I am not carefull (ch on the back button and cl on the shutter would be cool)!
