Hi Dan,
I can't rent it in Brazil (m4/3 here is almost non-existent, and I've yet to see a company that rents photo equipment), but I know that if I don't like it I can easily sell it here.
I understand perfectly that there are many differences between both concepts and systems, and that choices always entail giving up on something. I've had surgery on my wrist (nothing to do with cameras) and issues with my hip (due to an accident), so the weight issue has become more and more important. I guess the priority here is finding a way to still do what I love to do.
I don't foresee having a problem with EVF, because that is where I started (my first dSLR was actually an Oly, 10 years ago, and before that I used superzooms. I also used a Nikon 1).
