Your test is partially correct, because the sensor of SD14 is an 4,7mpx not an 14mpx like the Kodak !!!
For this you don't see any kind of difference! Because Foveon with small 4,7mpx APS-C sensor is able to give to you 14mpx FF (+ o -) details of an Bayer.
The problem is this in my opinion: we need to compare an Foveon sensor with an Bayer AS-IS.
4.7mpx vs 4.7mpx
12mpx vs 12mpx
20mpx vs 20mpx

Sony a 99 (24mpx) vs sdQ (20mpx) 100% Crop
We don't need to print this 2 images...
Back in 2007 Sigma were marketing the sd14 as a 14MP camera (they don't do that any more, now they claim equivalence to 2x Bayer pixels).
We did that test for a specific purpose: to see whether you see a difference between a 14MP Bayer and a "14MP" Foveon in a print.
The Kodak doesn't have a very good sensor - it is noisy and noise reduction smudges low contrast detail and it probably isn't getting the full value out of its nearly 14MPs. Even so, it does have slightly higher resolution than the SD14.
But what we showed to our satisfaction was that it doesn't really make that much difference in print. You could see the difference if you pixel peeped onscreen at 100% but not on a 24" wide print (inkjet or Lightjet).
I think it proved our point that people get obsessed about small differences visible on screen at huge magnifications but if you print, these differences usually don't matter - unless you make huge prints. So, even though the SD14 definitely isn't equal to a 14MP Bayer, for desk top printing, who cares!
