Re: Any experiences with EZ Share or other Wi-Fi card lately?

I just came across an old post from Wesley Wong about the EZ Share Wi-Fi card, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the EZ Share Wi-Fi Micro-SD card adapter (since that will let me use my 32 GB Micro-SD cards with it:

I searched at B&H for any EZ Share products, but found none. I wonder why B&H doesn't carry them.
Anyway, I would like any information about people's experiences with any of the EZ Share Wi-Fi cards or adapters, or any other Wi-Fi cards or adapters, because I'm hoping to use one with my SD1 and eventually with an SD Quattro H (when I get one). The idea is to use tethering to control the camera and the Wi-Fi card or adapter to review the photos on my notebook computer screen or at least on a tablet that runs Android . . . if Capture Pro does indeed not allow me to review the photos on my computer. I may end up using the HDMI output from the SD Quattro H with an HDMI input adapter of some type to view the signal on a tablet, but this is unlikely to be possible with the SD1 Merrill, presumably (at least while in shooting mode, rather than review mode - I don't want to have to switch back and forth between shooting mode and review mode, because I don't want to have to touch the camera). I would like to be able to shoot a variety of exposures of the subject and review the photos on a large screen without touching the camera. Live view on an external monitor would be really nice, but the SD1 Merrill can't do that, as far as I know.
This is for photography of distant things with a telescope, using a Foveon sensor. I don't know how well it will work, and I'll be experimenting with my Sony cameras too, but a friend is letting me use her 5" reflecting telescope for a while, and I thought I'd try using the SD1 Merrill on it. I find that if I touch the telescope (or anything attached to it) the picture changes, so I want to find a solution for shooting without touching the camera, once I have the focus and composition the way I want it. I could use a remote trigger, but that will not let me review for critical focus and image quality on a large review screen, like a 10" tablet or my computer screen.
My plan would be to use this adapter to use the EZ Share Wi-Fi SD to Micro-SD adapter in the Sigma SD1 Merrill, and then use either an Android tablet or my MacBook Air to review the photos. With this solution I'll still have to get a remote trigger, like the Sigma CR-21, which unfortunately costs $45. I might get this wireless trigger instead, which will save me $10 and remove the possibility of the wire transferring vibrations/movement to the camera:

I already have an IR remote for my Sony cameras (good quality and much cheaper).
I use the EZShare card with my iPad Pro (ShutterSnitch app) - I find it really useful to check sharpness, focus point, exposure etc. when I'm shooting with models. It also allows the model to review and choose her(/his) favourite shots when we have a break or finish the session.
There is a slight delay - but the way I work - I shoot about 10-20 or so shots straight after another before changing set-up/poses etc. you have to wait for the jpegs to transfer (I have it set to transfer jpegs only)...although it's not instant, it's well worth it. It's not slow enough that you can't re-shoot, and obviously, invaluable when you want to avoid finding a brilliant pose/composition is 'lost' because the focus was off when you get home to transfer to computer.
I've tried eye-fi cards, but in my experience, it was not satisfactory - I've wasted buying 2 cards thinking things may be better.
It goes without saying that with firmware updates etc. things change...but I've stuck with my really old EZShare card. (I bought it based on Wesley's recommendation)
I was using this set-up with the DPMs before my DPQ2 (I do not have the Sigma DSLRs).
I have no experience with the micro-sd adapter.
Regarding the wireless things - I love my Triggertrap...but sadly the company folded, and therefore I wouldn't recommend it (unless you find it 2nd hand cheap). I've not researched into what I can use when the firmware becomes out-of-date and stops working.
If there's anything specific you'd like answering about the EZShare card, let me know.
