Comparing SD15 and Nikon D5200

I used the same settings for both cameras, shooting ISO 100, Raw Nikon at F8 and Sigma at F10 with lenses set at 48mm, same scene. It appears that the 24.2 mp Nikon image has slightly better resolution but the Sigma upscaled from 4.7 mp has better image quality and very nearly as good resolution. Both images post processed in Adobe Photoshop and sharpened with Nik Sharpener Pro (free filter set from Google). The differences in image area is accounted for by the differences in sensor crop factors. The Sigma image is shown first.
