Just a quick thumbs up for the 12 24.

I first bought it and used on the k5iis which just didnt seem to do it justice.

Because your shooting wide the 12 24 really loves megapixels and the k3 was a match made in heaven.

You dont realise how sharp it is until you need to use it close range as i did in a small room when a bride was getting make up etc and used it for portrait work at the 24mm end .... very very surprised

Also surprised to hear about use with k1.... might give it a go, However i have an old / new on shelf FA j 18 35 for that purpose but worth a try.

Nobody seems to do WR, so just find a cunning way of covering it.

The pentax colours and flare resistance plus light point star's make this a winner for me which the sigma 17 50 cannot replicate despite its crazy sharpness
