I've owned four Oly cameras.  Sony sensor failed in my C5050, which was a sensor defect.  While the capacitor died sometime back, the camera, which is going on 13 years old, still performs magnificently.  The door on my E330 wouldn't close and stay closed, but that happened after I'd had the camera four years and had switched to my E-M5.  I have an E500 that's 11 years old and never fails. So, I have 37 years worth of Olympus experience with four cameras with the two issues as noted.  My GM5 is a year old and works great.

As noted in the thread, your survey's methodology isn't going to give you any objective data.  Lots of personal experience, which is worth something.
