I'm jealous. I love photographing tigers and these are just outstanding. I would have to have these printed as a Canvas mounted collection.

That is such a good looking cat, and you did a great job of catching his action.

In addition, I'm jealous about your new camera too!

Thank you Greg

I have to admitt that i'd be jealous too and i wish i could repeat this which unfortunately is not possible because the tiger is now almost 9 moths old and too big and strong to simply let him run free.

Regarding the camera, i have tto admit that i did not make the best out of it because i only had it for 2 weeks prior to the trip and due to family Christmas preparations i had no time to make myself familiar with the new AF system. The trip was supposed be end of January and in the end i was unprepaired and used the same AF settings that would work on the E-M1.1. I could have done much better but at time i did not yet know how to set up the cam to get the best results.

My husband used my old E-M1.1 and also shot many very nice images (unfortunately he does not post them). The only visible difference to me are images at higher ISOs. There was a situation where i was at ISO 4000 because the tiger was running in the forest and there was no light. He then sat down and stated to nibble on a branch of a fallen tree. I forgot to adjust the ISO but the image turned out very well for ISO 4000, much better than anything i could have gotten from the E-M1.1 although i did have to heavily de-noise the background.

ISO 4000!

I am not sure about large prints, we already have some huge canvases with safari pics hanging in our living room. But i'll make a coffee table book with the tiger and mountain lion images.
