One of the most bookmarked threads here, many thanks! Might you be able to bring it up to date, given the firmware update to the 100-400, and the arrival of the E-M1 Mk.II? I'd love to know the real-world (ie oscilloscope trace!) effects of the Mk.II anti-shock and silent shutters on the 100-400 at shutter speeds around 1/250 and 1/350. My Mk.II camera sets these speeds while varying ISO between 800 and 6400 (yeah, grey winter skies!) when I'm maxed out at 400 mm / f5.7 in aperture priority, and I'm not getting the sharpness I expected I would, even on the tripod.
