A 360 degree panoramic still image was made using the Sony Z5 premium smartphone .While running the Google Cardboard App ( free download ) the smartphone was held in front of my face and I rotated slowly through 360 degrees. This resulting panoramic still image was put into Video editor ( Sony Studio Platinum 12 ) and a stereo image was produce by mixing the image by itself with one of the images displaced. The 3d effect is a bit pseudo. To get a better 3d effect the camera should be in movie mode, and a single clip made whilst rotation through 360 degrees. This clip could then produce a better 3d effect in the video editor.
