Re: Shooting pics in Auditorium set up?

I took pictures of a concert some years ago with the same 600D + 75-300. I was quite far, on the balcony so I had to use 250 to 300mm

If you can't get in with a tripod, you need to get a way to get your lens on something and wait for the subject not to move too much, I was first raw of the balcony so I could use the fence.

If the different subjects are about the same distance, use manual focus + live view magnification and focus on one that is at average distance, check focus every now and then.

Be ready for a lot of bad pictures so shot as much as you can and try different settings.

Shoot RAW, take EC -1 or less as you will probably have to work on the white balance and brightness anyway.
