My best vacation lens

I don't think I have missed any picture with this lens, apart when using the build-in flash that is not high enough and the lens cast a shadow.

I never had any focus issue too, it is fast and silent (comparing to my other lenses).

Image quality is also very good, the quality of my pictures is only limited by my skills...

I was surprised to be able to take quite close shot of flowers and insects, minimum focus distance is 24cm.

Regarding the flash issue mentioned above, I find that it is bright enough to take pictures with no flash, even in limited light, otherwise, you need to check the flash capacity before to buy and test that the lens still doesn't cast a shadow if you keep it on the hotshoe.

To finish, if I had to chose only one lenses for vacation it would be this one.
