Antarctica Trip with XT-2 & XPro2

New poster here, but I have consulted all the wonderful expertise in this forum from time to time over the years. As the Fuji lineup has evolved I loved look and feel, so I finally ditched all my Nikon gear when Fuji had the reliability of focus I wanted and improved high ISO. ( I tried the Sony ARII on the way to Fuji, but didn't like the shooting experience and the dearth of lenses at the time) It also helped that Fuji added real pro zooms on the long end. I won't be looking back!

I recently traveled to Antarctica. It's vast beauty and accessible wildlife makes it a photographers paradise.

I took two bodies in case anything went wrong. I ended carrying both on excursions, so I didn't have to deal with changing lenses on the fly. Brought the 10-24; 16-55; 50-140, and 100-400. Hard to miss a shot with that range! Fuji's weather resistance was important, but we had nice weather, so it never really came into play. Using the battery grip on the XT-2 reduced the aggravation factor with the battery life. Admittedly I carried a lot of gear, so it was still heavy, but not DSLR heavy!

I still have a ways to go with processing, but have been very happy with my set so far.

I appreciate all the information and technique tips I have learned from this forum and plan to be more participatory going forward!

I wanted to share a few from my trip. C&C welcome!
