Re: JPG File - shot as JPEG or converted?

Looks like there is a field Record Mode that has a value of CRW+THM for raw and JPEG for jpeg.

I was wondering because going through my old files, there's a batch that coincidentally has file numbers that run through an even thousand before midnight and start again at the next thousand after midnight. Also, they switch from CRW to JPG after midnight. Apparently, just a coincidence. I thought I had lost some raw files. All I can find is the JPEGs, but they have JPEG in the Record Mode field.
