x100s newbie questions.

1. Can someone explain what does AE, AFL/AEL stand for? and what do these buttons do exactly?

When I press the AE button, it only changes the icons on the top left corner but does nothing else. The AFL/AEL does nothing at all.

2. It is possible to have the x100s automatically switch between the macro mode and normal mode?

3. It is possible to use OVF while in macro mode?

4. It it possible to tell if the camera is in silent mode while using OVF? I can not seem to find the silent mode icon while in OVF.

5. Why do we need three buttons, Menu, Drive and Q button to access the settings?

6. What is the point of the wheel next to the OVF when the only option is to scroll it all the way up. What is the point of have the OVF blurry?

7. What does two way rocker button thing (above the AFL/AEL) do?

8. When you are in Eye Sensor mode, and when you look into the VF, and using OVF changing between macro and normal mode confirmation dialogue are all displayed inside the the VF through EVF.

But if you are in View Mode is VF only and you are using OVF, and if you want to switch to macro mode, the confirmation is not displayed through EVF but instead the confirmation box are displayed on the LCD display, which is annoying because I have to look away from the VF every time I want to switch to macro mode. Is this a bug? I'm on firmware 1.21.

Thanks.
