Sigma 50-500mm, 150-500mm, lens stabilized? Comments?

Hello Folks,

Well, I'm a little confused so I'm back here for advice from user experts.

I want a "long zoom" lens. It will be permanently mounted on a K50, most likely, though I am willing to buy an affordable Nikon or Canon body to get what I want. I have a strong preference for stabilized lenses over IBIS. I realize both systems give equal photo results, but I simply prefer the "look" through a stabilized lens, instead of the jiggle I see with IBIS.

Are both of these lenses stabilized when used on a Pentax? I assume I could just turn off IBIS in my K50?

Theoretically, I prefer having the wider focal length available on the 50-500mm unless there is a significant IQ difference. I shoot strictly hand held.

Thanks, friends!

Jack
