I've been very quickly rebuilding my Samsung gear. It is actually harder to find good deals on NX gear now than a year ago, but deals are still around with some digging. With a dead system I have to buy at the right price to justify the purchase.

added a mint NX30 body(which I prefer over the NX300) for $200

New 30mm has arrived at $110

New 45mm on order fir $150

found a mint 50-200 fir $90

new 16-50 PZ for $130

new 12-24 fir $200

came across a like new in box NX10 with 18-55 lens for $80. I don't think it was ever used. Not sure if I'll use it! Probably too sluggish?

I probably will not add S lenses or NX1 because I want to keep my investment low, but WOW I love Samsung. So happy to have much of my old setup back. So underrated!

Incredible prices, not at all possible in Europe which are more expensive for used items, where did you find 30/45/pz/12-24 new, for such a price?

You do not need the NX10 with the 18-55 with all that you got.

The NX1 with the S, it is the epitome of NX systems though (especially for semi-pro/pro users), still your setup is excellent for most things, congrats!

All the lenses other than the 50-200 where purchased using the "parts" method through parts repair centers. samsungparts.com is not always the cheapest, so it is best to look at all of the parts resellers. Since there is no retail channel for these lenses anymore, no one should feel bad using this method to obtain new and cheap lenses. To the parts seller it is no different than selling a bolt or knob.

NX1, NX30 and NX500 bodies are now hard to get a good deal on. Lots of good deals on NX300, NX3300, and NX3000. If I do ever find a deal on an NX1 I will get it. I had OIS issues with a couple of the 16-50 S lenses so I'm in no hurry to try that one again. The 50-150 is amazing, but not a must have focal range for me. I can get by with the 50-200. In fact I ended up with an old I version. Strangely it seems much netter than the iii version I previously had. The OIS works better, the rotational rings are smoother with a better feel and the extending lens tube finish is perfect, whereas my iii had minor finish irregularities. It seems my copy of the version i had better quality control.

Regarding the NX10, it was an impulse purchase. Basically a new, boxed kit for $80?! Couldn't pass it up! I will probably keep it to use in poor weather or at the beach where sand kills gear.

It would be interesting to start a new thread with different "parts" places in case any of us find a solution to their NX related issues!

Is that a request! 😀
