I've been using the 15-85mm as my walk around lens for 7D2 since 2014. It is a great lens. However, lately I have been wishing I could take better pictures in low -light with 7d2. One option is to switch from 7D2 to a FF camera, however I love 7D2 and I am not sure I am want to go FF.

Any thoughts on getting the 24-70mm f2.8L II in order to take better shots indoor with 7d2?

The high cost of 24-70mm F2.8 LII is not a problem.

If indoor, low-light photography is what you want to improve you may want to consider some of the wider-aperture primes rather than an f/2.8 zoom. You'll pick up an additional stop over the 24-70 f/2.8 with the 35mm f/2.0, 50mm f/1.8 STM, and 85mm f/1.8.

Or go pick up a 6D instead.
