EP-5 is a good camera with an interesting flaw. It has shutter shock. There is a firmware update which basically cures it. I discovered this when I was testing it with a 9-18 lense. If there was ever a lense where you would expect to get sharp pictures at 1/160 sec., this would be it. I had used 2 other cameras with the lense and had no problems with the dreaded ss. What this means is that you have to shoot in single shot mode to enable the fix. Or switch between modes to enable continuous shooting. This is the one flaw in the camera, avoiding shutter speeds between 1/60 - 1/320 sec without using the delay.

Other than that, the camera is very good. ISO performance for M43 compared to APS-C is excellent as far as I am concerned. Image stabilisation is very good. Exposure metering and dynamic range are excellent. On those aspects, Olympus has done a good job. For the right price, this is a very good camera. Having said that, the other cameras mentioned are excellent in their own right.
