E-M1 II & Panny 7-14 users question
2

The Panasonic 7-14mm have been in my sights from quite some time. I've seen some amazing pictures from it, but the heavy flaring issue with the E-M1 sensor kept me away from it. Now that the Mark II is out, I wonder if it has the same problem.

I'm not getting a Mark II anytime soon, maybe next year, if the price goes a bit lower, but right now I can't afford it. But as a long term investment, I might just get the 7-14, knowing that once I have the Mk II, I'll no longer have to worry too much about flare.

I know the Leica 8-18mm is around the corner, but I don't expect to be too far away from the Olympus 7-14mm, which would be my ideal purchase, but way out of my price range. Besides, I'm really looking for something wider than my current UWA, the 9-18mm, and I don't think the 8-18mm would be too much of a difference (in focal length, of course).
