Thank you for the information. This refers to the circular patterns on the sensor. That seems to be resolved. What I was further interested in was the reports that you might get stripes in the pictures due to this supposed sensor flaw. Something to do with the two layers for AF.

But it seems that so far nobody here has encountered this problem. So I am not sure what I actually read or whether people were making stuff up.

Given that this is the complaints department for Canon, it's a good sign that we haven't come across this...

Will keep my mind open, but the 760d seems to get closer.
