Sigma 70mm f2.8 Macro on SD14

I have been shooting a little with the amazing Sigma 70mm f2.8 Macro. Here are a couple from this morning, which I thought might make good examples. Close-ups of flowers don't do it for me, because they almost never show what the lens does in the corners, which is one of the main strengths of this lens. What I really need to do is go to down-town Miami and shoot some faces of some old, brick buildings.

I can't seem to tilt the camera right, huh? I think this was a hand-held shot.

I reduced the exposure and add contrast in SPP.

As you might expect, I saved these from raw files, using SPP (version 6.4). It was a windy day, so don't rely on the sharpness of the palm fronds to tell the whole story. I need to get out into the sun, huh?

Any comments about the detail or other lens qualities you can see in these is welcome. (But I know bout the sensor spots. I need to clean my sensor badly. I guess I'm lazy.)
