Re: X-T2 in Mexico

Good stuff, Lars! I see images from Mexico City, San Juan Teotihuacan, Oaxaca City, Monte Alban, Mitla, Tule, San Bartolo Coyotepec and other sites in Oaxaca. Imagination there are other areas I can't make out (San Miguel de Allende, perhaps?), but you made some good choices insofar as where you chose to spend your time. How long were you there, and was this your first visit?

Just a few general comments stemming from a look at your entire flicker page: a) nice use of the panorama mode, esp. at Teotihuacan and Monte Alban; b) there are a few too many wide shots where you pulled back too much, e.g., a solitary individual walking at the base of a huge, fairly bland expanse of wall; c) I think you tend to use your 90mm a bit too often to shoot marketplaces and night vendors. I'd like to see more wideangle street shots where you close physically with your subjects. The 90 is a fast lens that yields gorgeous image quality, so I can see using it as your go to glass for night scenes; but sometimes I'd love to see more of the environmental context conferred by a good wideangle lens.

Regards,

Will
