I've also got both no, so I'll add my 2 cents.   Size and handling are actually very similar, grip on the 100D is a little better for me but they're both decent.  M5 has quite a few more physical controls that make it more convenient and it has the custom modes, which is a big plus for my use.  Oh, also even though it only flips down, at least M5 had that option, 100D is totally fixed.

My 100D is in the office at the moment, I would want to compare side by side.  One thing I can say about the AF is that for faster moving subjects the 100D gets an easy win.  But for video AF or smooth following then advantage M5.
