That is used only for Four Third Lenses not for Micro Four Third what the 300mm/f4 is !

is there an official Olympus statement regarding this, or is it just an assumption.

Page 110 of the manual does not mention 4/3 lenses. Have you tried registering lens adjustment data for a m.43 lens ?

The older FT lenses use PDAF only. MFT-lenses use contrast detection for the last AF steps.

Except in C-AF and C-AF Tr where the camera uses PDAF
