I am very happy with the m10, good price and comes with 15-45. After looking at reviews of the m1 I see the m10 is better at almost everything. I can't give all the pros I just know everytime I see a review of the m1 I think the m10 does those things better. My thumb is big enough to use all of the d pad without moving so I can use manual mode and change all settings fast and easy without lifting or changing grip.
The M10 has a built in flash an a flippy screen. I am not sure what reviews you are reading, but in all other regards, the M (and especially M2) is a better and more capable camera. The M10 can't even do bracketing.
I am new to photography. I didn't know HDR was different from bracketing.
In camera HDR produces a single JPEG file. Bracketing shoots multiple shots with different exposures in RAW and/or JPEG format. There are many uses for these multiple varied files. One is to build your own HDR. Another is if you are unsure of the correct exposure and want to cover all of your options.
But... I think if you can find an m1 used with 22f2, 18-55 +/- adapter at the same price I would take it and wait to see the next Gen m.
