Where is the FASTER 35MM lens?
3

I will be purchasing the olympus 17mm f1.8 soon but as i look at the lends selection from sigma, Panasonic and Olympus, i notice that the 35mm lens is being neglected by all brands in terms of aperture. they need to me a FASTER 35mm prime lens.

MFT need faster glass to compensate for the sensor size,

so check this out for prime lenses.

the wide angles have...

olympus 12mm f2.0

panasonic 14mm f2.5, panasonic 12mm f1.4

we get to the 50mm. The companies are focusing on the 50mm more than any lenses or primes. The 50mm is being produce the most. This lenses also are the fastest available.

pansonic 25mm f.17

olympus 25mm f1.8

panasonic  25mm f1.4

olympus 25mm f1.2

then we got to the portrait lens

panasonic 42.6 f 1.2

panasonic 42.5 f1.8

olympus 75mm f1.8

The only 35mm this system has is the panasonic 15mm f1.7 and the olympus 17mm. That is it. why can't panasonic or olympus make a faster 35mm? f1.4 or f1.2 to compensate for the sensor size.

thoughts?

Panasonic Lumix G 42.5mm F1.7
