Hi!
I ordered the M5 body just now, i have the M3 and a bunch of EF-M and EF-S lenses already.
But there's one thing that's bothering me.. Namely how various Sigma and Tamron EF lenses work on the M5 with the adapter?? I've been googling quite a bit, but there's not much info out there regarding this. I'm thinking about AF and OS/IS/VC.
So, if anyone of you have any experience with Tamron and Sigma EF lenses on the M5 through adapter use, please share!
My Sigma 150-600mm OS and 105mm OS macro work fine on the M5.
They suffer from the IS being "always on" which makes them a bit noisy in operation, but so do all lenses.
Hi Lawrence,
How is your Sigma 150-600 AF speed on M5? Any hunting?
My Tamron 150-600 is terrible on the long end:(( Lots of hunting and trouble to achieve focus. Thinking about sell it and get Sigma instead.
You might want to check out the Camera Store's M5 rewiew as they use a Sigma 150-600mm C extensively in it
