Yes, m4/3 is best for that, but is 650$ and the Ultra version is soft outside the center,

Sorry, but I just can't let gross misinformation like this go unchallenged. The Speed Booster Ultra for M43 is insanely sharp over the *entire* field of vew, not just the center. Even for extreme apertures like f/1.0. I personally did an MTF measurement that demonstrated that a Zeiss OTUS has better sharpness and contrast with a Speed Booster Ultra than without, even though the aperture is raised from f/1.4 to f/1.0: http://www.metabones.com/article/of/Speed_Booster_ULTRA_0.71x .

Perhaps you are confusing a real Speed Booster with a copycat?

I was referring to the XL option, I just mistaken it with the Ultra, I misplaced the names, sorry for that, but my opinion stands, the XL is soft outside the center.

Glad you agree with all the other points though.

I do use Metabones with JVC LS300 and GH4 , and they have excellent products ahead of the competition and my opinion about the GH5 is Ultra XL positive anyway!

The point of this is to find out if an "old" camera will be relevant 2 and a half years after first was out (six months less than the GH4), and talk about the exciting GH5 which is the talk of the whole industry right now.

Thanks for correcting me.
