I agree: it remains to be seen. Having said that; I was never too impressed with the High ISO video performance of the NX1. It was not (much) better than GH4.

That said, if for a person nx1 is enough for video, then it's better than gh5 overall. I've never been limited by nx1 in the 'few' videos I've made. And I prefer the better/bigger/more resoluted sensor for stills.

What helps GH5 is:
- IBIS, which is very  nice in photo too. With Em1.2 I  can handhold 5 s and get supersharp pics. So no tripod necessary for a stream to be nicely smooth. Wonder how well GH5 will do. It seems close to that.
- EVF....3,8 MP. Much  better but also seriously usefull for seeing if you are in focus perfectly. 
- Flippyscreen...nice for portraits from a low angle especially.

And you  just cannot seperate a body  from the lenses when  it comes to a system cam.
- There are now three very solid telephot lenses (300 F4, 100-400 and now the updated 100-300). None of that for Samsung. Forget birding, forget action shooting where these FLs are handy (wildlife).
- UWA; 7-14 twice. 8-18 Leica is also pretty wide. Two are weathersealed.
- And so many primes Samsung does not have.

If you  can do with a 16-50 andf 50-150 then  you are fine of course. But I say especially 225mm is seriously restricting you.
