first shots with the 50-140mm - loving it!
5

Finally had time to play with my new 50-140mm the other day.  Here are just a few shots I took around the house to get the feel of it.  These are all jpeg SOOC. And the ones of a Christmas ornament and my messy kitchen counter are just to quickly show the OIS abilities.  Again, these were just quick and dirty shooting, no real plan, I just shot what came to view as I was walking around with it.  It is large in small mirrorless terms, but I didn't find it difficult to hold at all.  And it's still smaller than any Canon or Nikon counterparts.  I do have the add-on hand grip on my X-E2, and that helped a lot with the feel for me.   It does make that slight whirling sound (I've been told on this forum that it's normal) that I only really noticed when I was sitting in my quiet house - so it's a non-issue.   I'll post pics from a new years day desert hike of some big horn sheep in another post.
