IC 405 Flaming Star Nebula with Unmodified 7D Mark II - Reprocessed

Based on the feedback received in my last post on the work in progress image, I have reprocessed the image.

I had a lot of fun yesterday & today learning many features of Pixinsight.

I dared to stretch the data a bit more and did not reduce noise as much. I have particularly experimented with various methods of star reduction.

Here is what I could come up with my current level with PI.

I hope to fill the holes (literally speaking) by more data so this is still work in progress.

I have kept the image in lower resolution so please ignore the plate solved scale value in arcsec/pixel.

In the final step, I could not resist adding a bit of magenta to red by selective colour adjustment in Photoshop.

This is because I thought the nebula looked a bit yellowish in the PI output - otherwise the rest of saturation levels and star colours are as from PI.
