RIP SD14 Hello SDQuattro!
Dec 28, 2016

I've been using SD14 since it's release (I'm not professional, but I admire end result foveon chip offers). Yesterday the mirror failed and wouldn't return (just as I was testing 3d printed diffuser/reflector I've designed to be used on built in flash). Tried to take it apart to fix the issue. Holly technology... the camera inside looks like have been put together by highly advanced alien scientists. I gave up taking it apart before reaching failed spring. So, I figured... the camera is old and an upgrade is in order. What do you know...? SDQuattro has just been released, yey! I doubt that there is anything in SDq inferior to SD14. But what will I be surprised by (despite the obvious)?
