Sony a6500 - 5 axis image stabilization big disapointment
6

I've received my pre-ordered a6500 from B&H New York store.

I've right now 3 lenses: a prime 20mm, 10-18 and 18-105. Both with optical steady shot feature.

I've mounted every one of them on a6500 with Steady Shot Active (automatic) and took three seperate videos in Auto and Program mode while panning and walking. I recorded 4K/30/100  videos. Then I transferred to my Windows 7 64bit computer with nVidia GTX980 video card. I watched them using Potplayer 64bit.

What a great disappointment. The movies were very shaky, the panning wasn't smooth as expected. Very, very disappointed. It seems to me that the 5 axis IBIS can't reach the level of stabilization as with real motorized  gimbal or even the DJI Osmo smoothness.
